Beloved Avatar Meher Baba Ki Jai!

Today (25th May), in the early morning at about 4:00 a.m. I woke up. The thought came in my mind, “Why is there so much inequality in the world?”

All of a sudden a voice came to me, and I heard, ‘Inequality! Do you remember what happened in Poona? The day when I went to Bund Garden from Guruprasad? My car was stopped when I reached Bund Garden.

“A blind beggar came near the car, and he said, ‘Give one rupee to this blind beggar, you wealthy persons.’

“I asked Pendu to give him five rupees. The blind beggar accepted the money, and he said, ‘God will give you more.’ The he left.

“‘Do you know who this man was?’ I asked the Mandali who were with Me. ‘In his past life he was a king, but he would not care for his subjects. People in his kingdom were harassed continuously. They were suffering, but this one was enjoying and enjoying. Nobody was able to make any complaint to him. If any complaint was brought before him, he would give hard punishment to the complainer. Now the same person is a blind beggar in this birth. He does not know that in his previous life he was a king.

“It is the same -- as you sow, so you will reap. Whatever deeds you perform, you will get the result accordingly. This life is nothing but the game of deeds. In the world you find there are rich people, and there are poor people. There are some who enjoy; there are others who suffer and suffer. Why does it happen? It is the result of the deeds you perform. There are those people who are dishonest, they deceive people, they collect wealth, and they enjoy. But they don’t know what will happen to them in their next birth.

“In this particular age, you just find more and more inequality. It is the result of selfishness, greed, greed for power, jealousy, hatred and all low desires. Low desires are increasing like anything. That’s why suffering is there and keeps increasing more and more.

“It is said that this is a progressive age. Science, indeed, has made a lot of progress. Yet at the same time, suffering is also increasing more and more. Inequality is there to the greatest extent. Science has progressed enormously and invented all sorts of comforts, but people are not happy. They are suffering to a greater and greater degree. More and more diseases we find in the world. So scientists keep most busy as they invent newer and newer remedies.

“You wonder why there is inequality in the world. There can never be equality, because each one performs different deeds and collects sanskaras (impressions) accordingly. Unless everyone has the same sanskaras, how can there be equality? It is impossible.

“Consciousness has to undergo different experiences for its progress. Every sort of experience consciousness must have, and therefore, equality will never be possible.

“There is only One Reality, inequality that is the sense of Oneness. God is indivisible; He cannot be divided. God is infinite. God is in everyone and in everything. That means everyone and everything are One. This Oneness is indivisible. Therefore, when people have the sense of Oneness, then all this strife will go away. And Oneness you cannot have unless you love God, Who is in everyone and in everything.

When you do, you have this feeling of Oneness. You cannot hate anyone. You cannot deceive anyone. You cannot achieve your selfish motives at the cost of others. You cannot harass anyone, because you cultivate love for others, thinking that, ‘If I do all this, then of course, I cannot please God.’

“So when you do such things, know well, that you have to suffer and suffer in your next birth. That’s why you find that there is so much strife in the world, and people suffer and suffer.

“The false sense of equality creates hatred, jealousy, while the sense of Oneness creates love. Therefore, honesty is the most important factor. You should be honest. You should be truthful. And you should be loving. If you do not have these qualities, then you create material for your own suffering, and you know it not.

“I am the One. I always forgive. No one realizes my compassion. I just see how people are behaving with each other. How they are creating material for their own suffering. How they have become selfish, greedy, dishonest. What I am doing for them, nobody knows.

“During My physical lifetime, I have collected the green grass. It is a very big heap of green grass, infinitely high. I have put a little fire underneath. Because the grass is green, it takes time to dry up. Once it dries up however, it will catch fire. The fire, because it is underneath the infinite heap, can only dry up a small portion, which will catch fire. Then another portion. It will go on and on. So what is this heap?

“Unnatural impressions.

“These unnatural impressions are created by greed, selfishness, dishonesty, hypocrisy, deception, adultery, etc. Because I love all, and all are My children, so these mischievous children will also be benefited through My work. All those unnatural impressions which are being created will be burned in the fire of My love. Then there will be peace in the world.

“I am working infinitely hard for this. And I am infinitely active. When the heap of green grass is finally burned, the world will have awareness towards Divinity. Everyone will feel Oneness. That is My mission.”

And then I did not hear anything more.

With all love and Jai Baba to you
